Porsche 996 Safari Roof Rail System
We reinvented the 996 roof rack. Why? Because even great engineering deserves a second look.
Taking inspiration from the factory Porsche Cayenne roof rails, we designed a system that looks like it could have rolled off the assembly line—but performs far beyond it. The result is our 996 Safari Roof Rail System: purpose-built for enthusiasts who expect their Porsche to do more than commute.
The factory mounting points are perfectly adequate for a bike rack or a light cargo carrier. But if your adventures involve rooftop tents, recovery gear, fuel, or extended overland travel, "adequate" simply isn't enough.
Each roof rail is CNC-machined from a solid block of 6061-T6 aluminum, precisely contoured to match the 996's roofline while maximizing load distribution across the chassis. The system utilizes the factory crossbar mounting locations for a direct bolt-on installation with no cutting, no drilling, and 100% reversible installation.
But we didn't stop there.
To complement the rails, we engineered an equally overbuilt crossbar system that's as capable as the rails themselves. Rooftop tent for two? No problem. Cargo box loaded for a cross-country expedition? Bring it on. Recovery boards, fuel cans, camp gear, bikes—if your adventure requires it, this system is ready.
