DUAL SWINGOUT REAR BUMPER - T1/T2 TOUAREG (2002-2010)

Tubular Rear Bumper for the first Generation Volkswagen Touareg (T1 & T2) 

Built on our sturdy Offroad Rear Bumper platform, these bumpers can take the abuse. Made in house with 1.5" DOM tubing that is CNC bent for the best possible fit and finish- no kinks or creases. Designed to replace your factory bumper bar, this bumper is a 100% bolt-on installation with no welding needed. It not only enhances the departure angle but also boosts the rear end's appearance.

Each swing arm—left and right—opens independently and locks securely to prevent accidental closure. When open, it clears the hatch and allows full access to the back glass (note that exact wheel offset may impact this). The setup includes a standard integrated tow hitch, rated up to 8,000 lbs, ⅛” thick steel skid plates, and two ¾” recovery points that are welded on. Designed and FEA tested for optimal strength and durability.

Built to order with any of the following options:

• Ladder - Allows for easy rooftop access and features knurled steps.

• Fuel Can Mount - Securely mount extra fuel in a can of your choice.

• Molle Panel - Universal style mounting plate for any accessory you can think of.

Installation requires removal of the lower portion of the bumper and OEM rear muffler. Cars equipped with factory rear hitch will need new hardware, your current hardware will be too long. T2’s require slight trimming of the outer corners.

Typical cost for a domestic freight shipment is $400-700 and $1200-$2500 for international, depending on destination. Additionally, shipping to a residential address will be more expensive than a business/commercial address, especially if a forklift is unavailable.
