Cable Clutch Conversion for MK1 Volkswagens
If you're swapping a VR6 or an 02A transmission into your Mk1, this is the kit you need. This can be used on both the 02A and 02J transmissions to convert from a hydraulic clutch setup to the cable system. Our kit comes with the clutch cable, clutch actuator and necessary bracket.
*Cable comes pre-modified to fit into the MK1 firewall. The cable ends are plug and play.
NOTE: On 02J transmissions the reverse switch is in the way of the clutch cable and bracket. in order for the conversion to work you must SHAVE DOWN THE ENTIRE reverse switch body on the transmission.
