Product Description

This CNC-machined Delrin Throttle Valve Delete Kit is designed for earlier-generation 3.0 TDI V6 engines equipped with an intake throttle valve in place of conventional manifold swirl flaps.

The factory throttle valve functions as an airflow control device and swirl flap system. Over time, these components are prone to carbon buildup and contamination, which can restrict airflow, reduce engine performance, and contribute to drivability issues.

This kit replaces the original throttle valve assembly with a high-quality CNC-machined Delrin delete pipe, eliminating a common failure point and improving intake airflow reliability.

Important Notice

Removal of the factory throttle valve will prevent the ECU from receiving a throttle valve position signal. As a result, an emissions or engine management warning light may be displayed on the instrument cluster.

To prevent fault codes and warning lights, the throttle valve function must be disabled within the vehicle's ECU software (ECU remapping/tuning required).
